1. HOW IT STARTED?
My inspiration started with my mom selling Avon and Mary Kay from a very young age and by the time I was twelve, I was delving into the pages of Cosmopolitan magazine doing every DIY trick you can imagine. By the time I was nineteen, I learned what an aesthetician was and thought it would be something great to fall back on, it turned out to be my forte and 23 years later, I still love my job. It’s incredibly rewarding, so fulfilling and helping people look and feel their absolute best, is very gratifying.
2. YOUR APPROACH TO SKINCARE?
I would say my approach to skin care is more on the natural side, beauty really starts from within. Our routines, our gut, our habits, food and lifestyle all affect the outcome. It’s really about educating the client, implementing changes and seeing which treatments your skin responds to. My style is a multi layered approach, starting from the infrastructure which is muscular, working through all the layers of the skin while using different modalities that energetically increase ATP. Incorporating a regular routine with facials, the right products, hydration and your diet is imperative to slow the aging process.3. YOUR BEAUTY SECRETS & RITUALS ~
My beauty secret is CONSISTENCY because that is the only way we can see results. For general well being, self-care and aging (we are going to age but how you age is up to you), my beauty rituals/secrets include meditation, yoga, detoxification, nourishing products and regular facials. I would also recommend investing in a good red light device, Micro-current and/or Micro-needling for upkeep at home. My new plasma device is a great addition to an at home skincare routine. Another must…water is a big one for me, I only drink very high quality water and try to only use glass.
Beauty from the inside- Colostrum-It helps repair the gut, which is the epicenter of health in my opinion. It’s immune boosting and nutrient rich while also being great for gut & skin health. @tryarmra
Ka’ChavaPlantbased Superfood- High in protein, probiotics and greens. I add it to my smoothies. It works great with my busy schedule, especially if I don’t have time for a full meal. Ka'Chava
I’ve also starting incorporating Beeya Organic Superfood- hormone balancing for your cycle. @beeyawellness4. SIGN US UP ~
If someone is just starting out with me, I have a treatment called Just Getting Started. It’s a two hour service that basically gives us enough time to discuss the state of your skin, your goals and tailor a routine specific to your skin. From there we build you a plan for optimal results and glowing skin.5. ACNE? Most asked question in my DM’s so we would all love your advice~
My approach to acne always starts with the gut. I encourage my clients to keep a journal of daily triggers, foods and skin condition. I start with simplifying the regimen so we actually know what’s working and then remove the harsh inflammatory products. It’s incredibly important to restore the skin first and then rid the body of the inflammation, parasites, yeast or in some cases-PCOS. I work with a naturopath so that we can really hone in on the issues and make sure we’re getting the client the proper care for optimal results. Most clients tell me that I’ve changed their life in one session just by discussing diet and lifestyle changes, along with a very effective facial treatment. Recommended products for acne ~DNA has a great Vitamin A serum & Medi Clear Natural Cleansing pads6. YOUR GO-TO SKINCARE LINE?
We love hearing what the skincare experts use so please tell us your favorite line~UPDATE-We just launched Skin Skulpt Plasma device & full skincare line!
My go to skin care line is DNA. I have worked with them for about fifteen years. I really see results with this brand and my clients can’t live without their products. DNA is a pro grade skincare line, incredibly rich in vitamins & nutrients, science backed and organic. It’s a myth that skin care has to be expensive to be effective and that’s really not the case-DNA is the real deal. My in-flight skin care routine always starts with an IV drip to make sure I am hydrated. I will carry on sheet masks and I’ll bring along my red light device, depending on the duration of the flight. I always make sure I’m properly hydrated and I don’t drink alcohol on the plane. I keep my routine pretty simple on vacation depending on activities, just sunscreen at the beach with a hat and in the winter I concentrate on healing, hydrating and nourishing my skin. Always in the suitcase for a hydrated Winter vacation~DNA Zen Therapy Treatment gel- It has Polypeptides and Hyaluronic Acid which is great for the colder weather along with Phyto Collagen Night Creme and Moisturizing Booster drops for plump and dewy skin and Skin Skulpt Serum.

9. WORDS OF WISDOM- Your absolute DO’s & Don’t do like don’t follow trends with your brows, don’t pick your zits & the tips we wish we knew sooner -
My absolute do in life for skin care is ~ find an aesthetician that you love, she will be your best asset in your self care. Start a routine early and start regular facials by at least 25. My definite NO in life for skin and aging would be NOT sleeping enough, not drinking enough water and using too many harsh products that can damage your barrier function. My advice for young women would be to get a routine early on including workouts, wellness and skincare. Your self care should be a priority, master the self and you can do anything.
It’s essential to stay consistent, once you get off track, it’s really hard to get motivated. Unfortunately we are exposed to so many toxins every day, I would also suggest detoxing at least twice a year. These things will change your life for the future, and for longevity and overall health. Lastly limit alcohol consumption, it really ages you.10. CURRENTLY DAYDREAMING- UPDATED
